About Us

Guided By Purpose

Our Foundational Values

These principles have guided Summit since its founding and continue to shape every aspect of our organization, from clinical care and research to the responsible stewardship of charitable resources.

Our Mission

Summit Hyperbarics & Wellness improves the health and quality of life of Idaho's defined charitable populations through evidence-based hyperbaric medicine and clinical research.

Our Vision

To be a national leader in charitable hyperbaric medicine, advancing evidence-based care and clinical research to improve outcomes for Idaho's defined charitable populations.

Our Origin Story

Where It All Began

Summit Hyperbarics & Wellness was born from a shared vision that Idaho's veterans, first responders, and other defined charitable populations deserve access to innovative, evidence-based healthcare regardless of their ability to pay.

Recognizing the growing body of research supporting Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for individuals experiencing the effects of traumatic brain injury, post-concussive symptoms, and other complex conditions, healthcare professionals and philanthropic leaders shared a vision of creating an independent nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to expanding access to evidence-based hyperbaric medicine in Idaho.

Rather than establishing another traditional healthcare clinic, the vision was to build an independent nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional hyperbaric medicine while advancing the science through clinical research. Every aspect of Summit was intentionally designed to combine compassionate patient care, measurable outcomes, and responsible stewardship of charitable resources.

Through generous philanthropic support, Summit is able to remove the financial barriers that often prevent individuals from accessing specialized hyperbaric care. This allows eligible participants to focus on healing while contributing to a growing body of evidence that may improve care for others in the future.

Since opening its doors, Summit has continued to build upon that vision through clinical care, research, and collaboration with organizations that share a commitment to improving the lives of Idaho's defined charitable populations.

Today, Summit remains committed to that original vision. As an independent Idaho nonprofit healthcare organization, we provide evidence-based hyperbaric medicine, conduct clinical research, and collaborate with local healthcare providers, charitable organizations, and other collaborating organizations to improve access to care for Idaho's defined charitable populations.

While we value these collaborations, Summit maintains independent responsibility for all clinical evaluation, medical decision-making, treatment, research activities, and organizational governance, ensuring every healthcare decision is made in the best interest of each participant.

What began as a vision to improve lives has grown into a commitment to advancing hyperbaric medicine, expanding access to specialized care, and creating lasting impact for the charitable populations we are privileged to serve.
